I'm Sue, I own and run She Shed Fabrics with my hubby Jason. We live in East Yorkshire.

My love of sewing has come from my mum and gran, who were a very talented sewers, embroiderers and bobbin lace makers. I didn’t really start to sew until we had our own

children, who are adults now.

Jason started quilting and crafting after watching me sew and now he loves making animals and keepsake memory bears.

I love all kinds of sewing, particularly dressmaking, making items for our home, and memory bears.

As I found it difficult to find good quality fabrics at reasonable prices we set up She Shed Fabrics from my summer house, (hence the name), after Jason retired from HM Forces. We have now moved into our own shop just a few miles from home in Beverley. Our aim is to provide quality fabrics and excellent customer service.

I stock a range of beautiful quilting and dressmaking fabrics, sewing patterns and haberdashery.
